Lily (2019) Screenprint by Louise Boulton
16.54 x 23.23 x 0.39" (unframed) / 12.6 x 14.96" (actual image size)
$295.04
Artwork description
The structure and elegance of the lily heads were a joy to capture to develop into a screen print. I chose to use bold colours to result in a modern contemporary image.
An original hand-pulled screen print. One colour is printed at a time by hand using a squeegee which pushes ink through the screen onto the paper. For each new colour the artist makes a separate drawing/stencil and different coloured layers are built up to create a design.
Materials used:
Hand pulled screenprint using acrylic screenprinking inks onto paper
Details:
- Screenprint on Paper
- Size: 16.54 x 23.23 x 0.39" (unframed) / 12.6 x 14.96" (actual image size)
- Signed and numbered on the front
- Style: Illustrative
- Subject: Flowers and plants
