Landscape. Twilight Time. (2024) Original Oil Painting by Artem Andreichuk

Painted en plein air near Kyiv, in the village of Protsiv, this landscape captures a quiet backwater bay along the Dnipro River—one of my favorite and most personal motifs.

In this work, I explore the fleeting, atmospheric state of twilight. The canvas is built on the dialogue between cool, shadowy water and the lingering warmth of the evening sky, where soft magenta, lilac, and deep emerald tones blend into the dusk. In the center, a solitary warm light glowing in a distant window breaks through the dark silhouettes of the trees, casting a delicate reflection across the calm surface of the river. It is a study in silence, mood, and the quiet intimacy of late evening nature. Original acrylic on canvas, signed.
