The Gaze (2025) Original Acrylic Painting by Nataliya Bagatskaya

This surreal acrylic painting captures a mysterious meeting between a solitary human figure and a humanoid cat under the cold glow of a full moon. The viewer is invited to contemplate the nature of their connection—whether it is a moment of confrontation, recognition, or silent understanding. The work masterfully combines photorealistic detail with dreamlike ambiguity, creating a timeless image that resonates with both curiosity and emotion.
Dutch acrylic paints Amsterdam tm and Italian fine-grained canvas by Unico were used. The finish is satin varnish, and the edges are painted in the background color. This painting is created on a pre-stretched canvas on a wooden frame. It is carefully packed in a cardboard box with layers of bubble wrap. The artwork is signed and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
