Foggy Pond (2021) Original Watercolour by Galina Poloz
11.81 x 8.27 x 0.04" (unframed)
$559.4
Original artwork description
Foggy Pond explores a quiet landscape where trees, water, and reflections gradually dissolve into mist. Rather than describing a specific place, the painting focuses on atmosphere, light, and the fragile boundary between what is visible and what is remembered.
Painted in transparent watercolour using a wet-on-wet technique, the work allows forms to emerge and disappear within soft washes of colour. The open areas of paper and fluid marks create a sense of stillness, distance, and suspended time.
