Flowers (2023) Original Oil Painting by Nadezda Stupina

A vivid celebration of nature. This artwork captures a floral arrangement with raw energy. Thick brushstrokes create a tactile surface. The composition vibrates with a balance of light and shadow. A radiant yellow blossom dominates the upper right. It contrasts sharply against a moody, atmospheric backdrop of deep blues and greys.
Soft white petals emerge from the center. A delicate pink flower adds a touch of tenderness. Deep purple blooms ground the arrangement. The artist employs a bold, expressionist style. Color is used to convey emotion rather than strict realism. Each stroke feels intentional and passionate. The interplay of cool tones and warm highlights evokes a sense of sudden light hitting a still life. Rich greens weave through the stems to unify the bouquet. The fragmented application of paint lends a modern, dynamic quality to the scene. A simple pale vase supports the lush variety of petals. The edges of the canvas remain textured and organic. Light dances across the petals in a display of spontaneous creativity. This painting transforms a classic subject into an emotive sensory experience.
