Fern Fronds (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Tetiana Pchelnykova

"Silhouettes No. 2 — Fern Fronds & Autumn Leaves on Grass" is an expressive work from Tetiana Pchelnykova’s ongoing Silhouettes series. The piece captures the tactile rhythm of green fern fronds and wild grass silhouettes layering over a luminous background of yellow autumn leaves, golden ochre, and deep terracotta earth.
Executed in heavy impasto acrylics with palette knives on a sturdy primed cardboard
board, Pchelnykova connects ancestral memory with contemporary gestural abstraction.
The sculptural layers of green paint capture the enduring vitality of wild fern foliage,
echoing the quiet resilience of life cycles and nature's seasonal renewal.
