Original artwork description
This plein air painting captures the quiet transition into evening over the rooftops of Alanya. Painted on location in March 2026, I was fascinated by how the warm terracotta roofs begin to glow against the deepening cool tones of the mountains and sky.
The flowers in the foreground became a bridge between intimacy and distance — a moment of stillness overlooking a living city.
