"Eveil # 1" (Awakening) is part of my series The Four Seasons, a body of work in which each season becomes a metaphor for an inner stage of life.

This oval portrait is a tribute to spring, not only as a season of nature, but as a symbol of renewal, transformation, and the quiet courage to embrace change.

Working with mixed media allows me to give the piece both visual and tactile depth. Acrylic painting is combined with feathers and hand embroidery, creating subtle textures that become an integral part of the narrative rather than simple embellishments. The feathers evoke lightness and freedom, while the stitched details symbolize the invisible threads that connect our experiences and shape our personal growth.
