'Dusk Meadow ' (2025) Original Acrylic Painting by Jo Starkey

As the sun sinks towards the horizon, the meadow is bathed in a warm golden glow, with the last light catching the wildflowers before evening falls. Rich layers of colour, texture and delicate metallic highlights create depth and atmosphere, while expressive grasses and softly scattered blooms evoke the quiet beauty of a summer meadow at dusk.

Inspired by the changing light across the British countryside, Dusk Meadow offers a contemporary interpretation of nature, balancing bold colour with a peaceful sense of stillness.
