Danza nell’Acqua (2026) Original Watercolour by Annet Loginova

Medium: Oil on canvas
Size: 40 × 50 cm (15.7 × 19.7 in)

It is a new piece in my ongoing Ballet Series, exploring the connection between dance, freedom, and the fluid rhythm of water. The ballerina appears suspended between movement and stillness, surrounded by waves and flowing strokes, as if her body has become part of the water itself.

Vivid shades of turquoise, deep blue, cobalt, and luminous white create a dynamic underwater atmosphere, while warm golden accents add light and depth to the composition.

Painted with professional oil paints on canvas, the work features expressive brushwork, rich texture, and subtle impasto. Layered strokes give the waves a tactile, almost sculptural quality, allowing the light to move across the surface and emphasizing the energy of the scene.

Frame is not included.
