Côte d'Azur 11 (2026) Original Oil Painting by Nataliia Krykun

25 x 25 x 3cm (framed) / 20 x 20cm (actual image size)

$663.82

The Côte d'Azur series was created after holidays and travels along the French Riviera, a place the artist returns to again and again. Each painting is a memory brought back to the studio: turquoise water, sun-warmed rocks, white sails and villages set against the hills. Light is the real subject of the series, from bright midday to the soft glow of evening over the Mediterranean.

Painted in rich yet balanced tones, the works combine classical landscape tradition with fresh, contemporary brushwork. Together they read like a travel diary in colour, holding on to the calm, the warmth and the feeling of being by the sea long after the journey has ended
