Original artwork description
Antonino Puliafico’s "Celestial Gaze" is an original oil painting on canvas in which flowers and botanical forms are reinterpreted through a contemporary, tactile language. Measuring 100 × 100 cm and dated 2025, the work balances immediate visual impact with close-range surface detail.
Through palette knife, impasto and brushwork, Puliafico lets colour accumulate, break apart and reconnect across a visibly worked surface.
Antonino Puliafico’s "Celestial Gaze" is a poetic and ethereal composition where color, texture, and movement blend in perfect harmony. Using his signature palette knife technique, Puliafico creates a painting that feels like a dance of light and air.
The work balances immediacy and detail, offering both a strong visual impact in the room and a richly textured surface for close viewing.
