Where The Wild Roses Grow (2025) Original Oil Painting by Angie Wright

Where the Wild Roses Grow is an exuberant celebration of nature left beautifully untamed.
A profusion of wild roses tumbles across the canvas in shades of deep crimson, vivid pink, blush and soft white, emerging through layers of fresh green foliage. Loose, expressive marks weave between more defined blooms, while glimpses of the neutral ground and delicate trailing lines give the painting a wonderful sense of depth and movement.
There is something wonderfully romantic about a garden that has been allowed to grow a little wild. Flowers compete for the light, branches cross and intertwine, and beauty appears without order or restraint. Where the Wild Roses Grow captures that fleeting moment when a garden seems completely consumed by summer.
Painted with an energetic, expressive approach, the work is rich in colour and detail without losing its sense of spontaneity. From a distance, the painting creates a dramatic burst of colour; viewed more closely, individual marks, drips and layers reveal themselves across the surface.
Vibrant and romantic, Where the Wild Roses Grow brings the feeling of an abundant summer garden indoors.
Due to it's size, "Where The Wild Roses Grow" ships rolled in a tube. This allows me to offer the artwork at a more competitive price and is safer for the artwork in transit. Your local picture frames can stretch the canvas to hang.
