An imaginary gathering of strange, organic creatures emerges through washes of colour, stains, fine lines and accidental marks. Shapes seem to meet, observe and overlap, somewhere between animals, plants and unknown beings. Deep violets, greens, blues and warm earthy tones create a playful tension, while untouched areas of white allow the composition to breathe.
Painted on 100% cotton handmade paper, whose irregular deckled edges and natural texture are an integral part of the work. Each mark, diffusion and imperfection is allowed to remain visible, preserving the spontaneity of the painting.
