Original artwork description
I painted 'Benign' during the month of June when the lilies were in bloom in New York City. Various shades of these flowers are reflected in this painting. The main contrasting theme of greens and pinks crates an ambivalence about the nature of this piece which is put to rest by the title - Benign.
