Arabian Horses (2013) Original Oil Painting by Jennie Smallenbroek

Experience the power, grace, and freedom of the magnificent Arabian horse in this large original oil painting. A herd of Arabian horses gallops towards the viewer, capturing a fleeting moment filled with movement, energy, and elegance.

Renowned for their intelligence, endurance, and noble spirit, Arabian horses have inspired artists for centuries. Their refined features, expressive eyes, and powerful yet graceful bodies make them one of the world’s most admired horse breeds.

Painted in professional oils on linen using a classical layered technique, this artwork brings depth, atmosphere, and realism to every detail—from the shimmering coats to the dynamic movement of the herd. The soft background enhances the feeling of speed while keeping the focus on the horses’ strength and unity.

Measuring 110 × 110 cm (43.3 × 43.3 inches), this impressive painting is beautifully presented in a 120 × 120 cm (47.2 × 47.2 inches) black wooden frame, ready to become the centrepiece of any interior.

This is a one-of-a-kind original painting, never a print or reproduction.

Meaning and Symbolism

Horses have long symbolized freedom, strength, courage, loyalty, and the untamed spirit. A galloping herd represents unity, determination, and the courage to move forward together despite life’s challenges.

This painting celebrates both the beauty of the Arabian horse and the timeless connection between nature, movement, and freedom.
