This painting was born during an open-air art retreat at the Star Dadaj resort, nestled by the shores of the Warmian Lake Dadaj, brought to life through the gentle generosity of our patron, President Alicja Starkiewicz.

On the eve of the traditional Kupala Night—that ancient Slavic celebration of fire and water, sun and moon, harvest and love, which unfolds during the year’s shortest night from June 21st to 22nd—we cast woven wreaths upon the lake's waters. Long ago, young maidens would intertwine wildflowers and wild herbs, releasing them into the currents to divine their romantic destinies and marital fates.

The canvas captures the spirit of that mystical evening, rendered with a palette knife to elevate the rich, sculptural texture of the oil paints, which rise from the surface in bold, emotive layers.

The painting is completed and ready to hang - framed and delivered without charge. Two layers of varnish protect it from dust and ultraviolet rays. Certificate of Authenticity will be included...

Obraz powstał na plenerze malarskim w ośrodku turystyczno-hotelowym Star Dadaj, położonym nad warmińskim jeziorem Dadaj i dzięki hojności sponsora w osobie p. Prezes Alicji Starkiewicz.

Obraz jest zabezpieczony dwoma warstwami werniksu, by chronić powierzchnię przed kurzem i promieniami ultrafioletowymi. Obrazowi towarzyszy certyfikat autentyczności.

Dziękuję za odwiedziny mojej strony.
