A Good Life (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Victoria Coleman

We recently said a sad farewell to the marvellous Dame Penelope Keith an English actress who played many wonderful roles in tv, radio, stage and television, she held a special place in my heart for the fantastically snobby character Margo Leadbetter she played in the 'Good Life'.

This painting is taken from a still from the series in which she spends a 'homemade Christmas' at her neigbours' house Tom and Barbara hence the newspaper hat. If you are of a certain age and a fan of the GL I thoroughly recommend you revisit the series on YouTube!
