I see it constantly: walking along the river in Limerick, or out in the countryside where the fields stretch further than the eye wants to follow. This painting catches one of those brief moments when the grey pulls back just enough to let a soft pink through, right before the rain starts again.
Painted wet-on-wet, letting the pigments bleed and pool the way real clouds gather — no hard edges, just colour dissolving into colour, with fields and a quiet road anchoring the scene below.
