Christa Haack lives in Freiburg/Germany and has a studio in Gutach/Breisgau (south-west Germany/Black Forest). From 1984 to 1989, she lived with her family in Paris, France. In 1988–1989, she studied art history in Paris. From 2000 to 2014, she lived in London. From 2003 to 2006, she studied painting intensively at Hampstead Art College in London. Since 2006, she has been studying at the renowned State Academy of Fine Arts in Bad Reichenhall. She has been a freelance artist since 2006. In 2010, she attended a masterclass with Alexander Jeanmaire in Switzerland.
