Summer's Last Blush (2026) Original Oil Painting by Daniel Brian Fishback

A beautiful summer scene captured near the end of summer in my neighborhood on one of my many daily walks. The original photo reference was carefully cropped to ensure the best possible composition. The amazing red crape myrtle in the painting center is the star of the show, stealing attention from the lovely surrounding shrubs. Reds, pink, greens, yellows, and purples dominate the work.

After careful photography and color correction, this image is as close to the original painting as I could achieve. Be sure to view all images to appreciate the texture, color, and brushwork.
