Storm Beneath the Surface (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Theodor Anghel

A storm that lives just beneath the surface.

This large 48x60" original is an immersive, gestural abstract where deep indigo, teal and charcoal collide with burnt orange, rust and soft ivory. Bold, sweeping brushwork, layered drips and swirling ribbons create a powerful tension between chaos and calm.
Painted intuitively on a grand scale, the size lets you fall into it, energetic from afar, intimately delicate up close with whispers of blush pink and sage. A true statement piece that anchors a modern living room, coastal home or office.
