"Pieces" (2026) Original Oil Painting by Olga Gamy

"Pieces" is an expressive, semi-abstract landscape built from fragments of colour, light and form. Dark tree trunks, warm earthy tones and delicate patches of pale blue, pink and cream come together to create a landscape that feels both familiar and imagined.

Rather than depicting a specific place, the painting explores the way we perceive and remember landscapes — through scattered impressions, shifting light and fleeting details. Bold brushstrokes and layered textures bring depth and movement to the composition, allowing the landscape to emerge gradually from its individual parts.

A painting about the beauty of fragments, and how they can come together to form something whole.
