"On the threshold" is a black and white fine art photograph exploring the quiet moment between movement and stillness. A silhouetted woman stands within an architectural archway, surrounded by strong light, deep shadow and a sculptural glass vessel.

The work is inspired by the tension between presence and absence, inviting the viewer to pause and imagine what exists beyond the frame. I chose black and white to strip the scene of distraction and place emphasis on light, shadow, form and atmosphere.
