    I am pleased to have dispatched my painting 'Shepherd's Delight' off to a buyer in Philadelphia...but the cost of postage has shot up....seemingly doubled! I have had to adjust the postage costs charged but fear that this will just kill any future sales to the USA sadly.

    Lanzarote Sunset is one of the paintings that I will be exhibiting in the 'Back to the Drawing board' group exhibition at the Dart Centre at Hedge End, Southampton from 8th Jan until 9th Feb 2024. The sun is a universal symbol of renewal and new beginnings.

    I have been busy with some commissions these last few weeks. I was pleased to have a commission to depict the shoreline at Hill Head in Hampshire. This view has changed significantly since the last time that I painted this scene with the demolition of the Fawley power station chimney in 2021. This was an aid to landscape painters as well as sailors!

    I am very pleased to have dispatched my original pastel painting ' Autumn Acer III 'to a purchaser in Arkansas today. This painting depicting my beautiful 'Acer palmatum dissectum' had a near record 90 loves over 9 years or more of being offered for sale on Artfinder and has received masses of attention in Browsers at numerous exhibitions over that period but up to now had eluded that sale! Never ever give up!
