This original ceramic sculpture is one of the latest artworks of the talented professional Bulgarian sculptor Rossitza Trendafilova, deeply inspired by modernism, abstractionism and folk art. Busin ceramics as one of the phenomena of the Bulgarian ethno-culture and its historical development. The fine art ceramics and pottery from the Busin Ceramic School are unique in shapes and glazes. The patterns carry the folklore spirit and the sense of aesthetics of Bulgarian ethnic culture. Busin village is one of the oldest centers of pottery on the Balkans and was the most important of its old traditional centers and artisans. It is distinguished above all by the magnificent sculptural construction of the figural compositions on the ritual vessels.
