About Vincent Keele

  • Biography
I am an expressionist painter living and working in Washington with a focus on creating paintings that embody movement, energy, and light. My work puts cognitive thinking in the foreground, letting the viewer discover things along the way. Each artwork is painted with a mix of expressionism and abstraction, with bold colorful flowing lines. I am looking to speak to the existence of our being from the analytical to the sublime. These paintings explore how we interact with positive and negative occurrences. In most cases, we tend to choose one over the other, Dualism. What happens when we don’t choose sides but embrace both, Oneness.

This series explores embracing Oneness and letting go of Dualism. No longer thinking and acting as two parts but one complete source of energy. This body of work offers a way to achieve a type of wholeness, by implementing the primitive and the analytical at the same time.

I am interested in awakening cognitive thought, harnessing creative energy and researching the limits of universal thinking.
