    Valentin Mitev is a professional Bulgarian contemporary sculptor. In 2011 he graduated from the National Academy of Arts in Sofia with both bachelor and master degrees in Wood Sculpture and Art Woodcarving. Ever since his graduation he works in the field of wood sculpture and experiments with many contemporary art forms and materials. He has taken part in many group exhibitions in Bulgaria and he has created many large urban wooden statues all over the country. His art is large, it breaths and follows the natural living form in each material he works with.
