    Now the printing plate is ready to be printed. It is laid on the press bed, a sheet of dampened cotton rag paper is laid on top followed by the printing blankets and the whole thing is rolled through the printing press.

    The plate has been inked and wiped in sepia and now I’m adding a warm orange yellow colour and wiping again

    Series of photos showing the inking, wiping and printing of my prints. The plate has been covered in sepia ink, wiped with scrim and paper until the right tones are achieved.
