  • Biography
    Sigita Jakutyte – “I was born in 1972 in Vilnius. I live in this city so far. In 1991 I finished philosophy studies at Kaunas Vytautas Magnus University. I began to draw then i was a child, as well as frequent child - on the walls :) mostly I liked to draw treble clefs. After studies in University I graduated Vilnius Justinas Vienozinskis art school. Since then, brush and white canvas always finds me. I actively participate in exhibitions and annual summer symposiums. In 2015 I participated in Lithuanian Union of Journalists organized paintings competition "free press – free I". With my art piece "Tramway" I won a trip to Belgium. I paint what I see around me and what I want to talk about. Painting for me is the way of communication, talking with the other close to my soul. And accost. Maybe...”

    Second united ONLYART.eu artists exhibition - "City vibrations" is took place in fancy, new business centre K29 (Konstitucijos pr. 29, Vilnius)!
    So, this time, we decided to try new and inovated enviroment and, of course, to reach whose people who are not going to galleries, to show them how big impact of artworks energy and vibrations can be in daily life places - offices, business centres.

    This is first united OnlyArt.eu artists exhibition in very interesting place - technical museum!

    Venue: Wind mill, Piliakalnio st. 10, Vilnius, Lithuania

    This was allready third exhibition of painters group "AUDEJAI":
    After finishing Vilnius J. Vienozinskio art school a group of passionate artist decided to stay together, rent a studio and PAINT. So, from 2012 we formed "AUDEJAI" group of painters.
    This year for a long time we were thinking about place/gallery/space where to exhibit our 3rd exhibition. Friend of mine sugested windmill, but I was skeptical about that place - paintings need big spece, white walls, good location. BUT afterall we decide to try. Exhibition exceeded our expectations - paintings looked completelly different, organic and natural on wooden walls.
    Sometimes you just have try and see (what will happen) :)
