    On Display at The Colintraive Hotel

    The Colintraive Hotel is one of those little gems hidden away in a remote corner of Scotland. Close to the ferry to Bute and on the edge of some of the most popular sailing locations it is romantic and cosy. I have a permanent exhibition here in rooms that perfectly set off my work.

    This is one of my exhibits from the New York exhibition which got a lot of enthusiasm. In particular the dreamy impressionist style caught people's imagination and I was delighted with the comments it received. It comes in sizes up to 30 inches to make a fantastic statement piece for any room.

    I was lucky enought to be invited to exhibit in New York a couple of years ago which was a lot of fun. The exhibition was mobbed and so busy you could hardly move and the popping of champagne corks added to the merriment. I was delighted with the comments I received, people liked the style and the Scottish theme of my work.

    In the studio

    I love working in my studio especially very early in the morning when the light is soft and beautiful. I have an extremely large printer which produces wonderful pieces. In this image, I am using a special piece of equipment called a Deroller which unfurls the curl in the paper and makes it completely flat for framing. The paper I use is sensitive so it is handled carefully holding only at the sides.
