Biography
I'm an oil painter and collagist inspired by the belief that I'm creating beauty in unexpected ways. My process always starts with the discovery of something that appeals to my sense of colour and form. My paintings each have numerous layers; an acrylic ground, an underpainting in acrylics or oils, the detailed painting in oils, effects such as flicked paint, and a final finish. My collage work brings together disparate visually appealing elements in a unified whole.
