    I had my third hip surgery on February 5th, a reconstructive surgery this time. I am grateful to be able to paint again and even more grateful that I was able to hike to the top of a mountain, in a rain forest, to paint plein aire once again. I am blessed.

    On one of the occasions that I have been to Puerto Rico, I found myself living on a sailboat for two weeks. Two weeks is way to long for this girl not to paint, so I had to do what I had to do. Some of my favorite moments in creating art have been ones I had to step outside of my comfort zone.
