About Kathlyn Pagador

  • Biography
As someone who had witnessed the people of the Philippines particularly in the rural areas building their own houses through local findings such as coconut leaves and bamboo shoots, this resourcefulness background naturally carried out through Kathlyn's development as an artist. Sometimes using found objects; autumn leaves, glass and wood to name a few as a medium for her artwork to enhance textural elements. Sustainability is also a keypoint to her progress, this meant that Kathlyn can produce multiple artworks simultaneously using these techniques; dripping, scraping, stomping so paint wastage is reduced whilst organically producing work at the same time without the traditional use of old masters.
