    Lovely article about my works in the "Pauline" Exhibition, Schwalenberg, Germany

    Pauline was a Lippian princess living around 1800 and she was one of the first guests to discover bathing in the North Sea to be healthy. She has given a great description of those times in her diary and I have created the paintings according to some lovely quotes of her. It was a lot of fun to create those works and a very successful exhibition.

    In May 2019 I was selected for a 4 weeks Baltic Sea scholarship at Kunsthaus Stove and had a fantastic time in their garden, studio and at the beautiful Baltic Sea... nothing like plein air painting!!!

    Packing artwork is something I really like to do, but it takes quite some time... layers of glassine paper, water-proof plastic, strong cardboard, bubble wrap and finally packing paper or more cardboard. Plus all the tax and customs documents.... :-)

    Magic of Watercolor Exhibition

    I am so happy to be invited to be a part of the biggest watercolor exhibition in Northern Germany, curated by Siegfried Krön of German Watercolor Society (DAG/DWS)! It is wonderful to show among some of the best German watercolor artists at the beautiful venue "Mühle Malstedt", here is a film about the opening! My paintings can be seen quite at the end of the film....
