  • Biography
After graduating with a degree in Visual Art I moved to London and worked in animation, film post-production and then as a Graphic Designer for television, all of which has informed how I process my work. Throughout this time I continued to draw and paint, and have now returned to art full-time with painting and printmaking. I am a member of The Printmakers' Council, Southbank Printmakers and Wednesday Printmakers and exhibit regularly with them.

Although I live and work in London, I am from Yorkshire and spend a lot of time there, and draw inspiration from both places. My work reflects the passing moment, a snapshot in time that tells a story.

For the first time in history, the Summer Exhibition will fall in winter. But at the RA, summer is a state of mind, not a time of year. Discover a myriad of works by household names and emerging artists inside our joyous festival of art.

    Essential Information
★ Everyone (including Friends) must book tickets for a timed slot online or by phone.
★ Friends of the RA will have three exclusive preview days on 3, 4 and 5 October, with extended hours from 10am-8pm.
★ Our main lift is currently out of order. Alternative routes are available.

252 years ago, a group of artists made it their mission to form an annual exhibition to support artists and architects, by showcasing art of the moment to the nation. The Summer Exhibition has run uninterrupted ever since: a backdrop to famous artistic rivalries of the past and now a fixture of the summer calendar for art seekers, year after year.
