  • Biography

I am a painter, printmaker and jeweller. I originally trained as a textile designer, and now I divide my time between plein air painting and printmaking.

I am endlessly inspired by nature and all it's wonders and love trying to capture it's grace and beauty.

In 2023 I became a member of the Society of Botanical Artists, who champion my soft ground etchings.

I also exhibited my 'Myths and Legends' etching at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2023, and much to my delight sold the whole edition.

I love creating and am delighted to be able to show my work to you all.

What is it that makes Oxford so beautiful? Is it the impressive architecture of the Radcliffe Camera, the grandeur of Christ Church or the cobbled streets of the Covered Market? Artists from across the country flocked to Oxford in June to answer this very question, by taking part in the Oxford Art Prize, an open-air art competition launched by O3 Gallery and Oxford Castle Quarter. The aim of the competition was to create a visible hub of artistic activity across the city and to celebrate Oxford’s beauty, culture and heritage through the medium of art. Now it’s time to share the results with the British public through a judged exhibition at O3 Gallery at Oxford Castle and the Town Hall gallery.

Artists were allocated various locations across Oxford during the weekend of the 6th and 7th June. Those artists had the day to begin their piece – created using 2D mark-making media; finding inspiration from their scenic viewpoint within the city.

    Event: Artweeks - Open Exhibition

    Dates: 4 May 2014 - 11 May 2014

Venue: My studio, 26 Plym Drive, Didcot, OX11 7PG

During Oxfordshire Artweeks many artists throw open the doors to their studios and show of their work.
I have done just that and filled my front room and kitchen with a display of art and jewellery.

    Event: OPEN EXHIBITION: PORTRAITS

    Dates: 1 May 2014 - 1 Jun 2014

Venue: Cornerstone Arts Centre, Didcot, Oxon

Cornerstone's annual open exhibition is a feast of art displaying the skill and imagination of local artists. This year entrants have explored the theme of portraits, so come and see how they have interpreted this traditional subject. The exhibition is part of Oxfordshire Artweeks, so you will have the opportunity to see a selection of work from artists who will also be opening their studios to the public.

    Event: Green Open Exhibition

An open exhibition with a wide range of local artists exhibiting with the theme Green.
