Not my best...but, It's so sunny and hot here (115 deg F) that I have to try #sketching this view from different angles to protect myself from the heat... #LasVegasStrip (NEW YORK 2x) #pencil #ink #sketch #drawing #UrbanSketching #Leuchtturm1917 #sketchbook #ArtIsMyTherapy

    DESIROUS (Work In Progress)

    DESIROUS (Work In Progress)

I just migrated to the "the land of the free" and, is currently, the #1 COVID-19 infected country... This piece would be my first official hand self portrait here. Notice how try to comfort my own hands and the way they are positioned. It may seem like I'm praying...but not really... I want nothing more right now but for this pandemic to end so I can start a, not new, but a different life here--> "where (they say) all dreams come true" <3

    ART IS MY THERAPY

Ever since our mother died, we've been relying on birds "music" to liven the quietness of our home...

    HANDS

    HANDS

I love drawing hands. I realize that most people under estimates the skill, ability, and meaning of drawing hands. I believe there is nothing that feels more real and expressive than showing emotion through hand gestures. The connection you get from audiences who actually relates to it (no matter how rare there are) is amazing. it's like you know each other because you encountered and value the same "seemingly" simple thing as a touch of a hand which are actually one of the important memories in one's life that most people take for granted."

    INTRAMUROS

    INTRAMUROS

Well, this is me "at work" (from my perspective). Basically, I draw to "live". Thus, I always bring a sketchbook everywhere I go. Probably due to my technical background, as of now, I'm enjoying drawing architectural pieces as much as I've enjoyed drawing portraits (I still do) :) This photo was taken at Intramuros Manila where I lived for 5 years when I was in college. I love it because of the blend of history, architecture and art I see- It's like history meets modern era...just like this 19'th century building which now offers fast food for both tourists and locals.
