I am working on a series of large 30" x 30" #seascapes inspired by my many visits and #paintings at #Whitstable beach. I am delighted to report that my series of 11 paintings has successfully found its way to 'Little van Gogh' and they are now hanging in an office in Camberley.

    Another Chenonceaux painting

    Another Chenonceaux painting

I painted again by the river while Stephen was rowing his canoe; I painted the reflections of the chateau, what a beautiful morning. I was sorry when he was back and we had to get his canoe back in the car. The bonus though, he took my photo!

    By the River

    By the River

We have had several bright sunny days despite the storms passing over the UK. Today was surprise, rain was forecast but the sun was lovely and I passed glorious river reflections when I went shopping. So straight out to the river with my easel, it was very quiet, Susie stayed in the car (under the shade of the trees) and I stood on the river bank and painted for two. hours. The autumn colours are deepening, they look lovely in the river! Not really sure I have done it justice!
