    The paintings of Maureen Hunt Piccirillo are of oil and watercolor with colors strong and lush mirroring the subtropical terrain in which she lives.

    Her composition and color manipulation mirror her classical training in both the United States and Europe Included in her work are Nudes (with which she achieved her first critical acclaim), Landscapes, Architecture and Still Life.

    Also, many of her original paintings are owned by collectors in the United States as well as Europe , collectors such as the HEINZ COMPANY, VERSACE, and BUKKEHAVE INC. And her line of blank verse greeting cards and matted prints go all over the world from several Florida Museums and Galleries.

    Her works have been juried into national and regional museum exhibitions by such reknown judges as William Lieberman, former Chairman of 20th Century Art at the Metropolitan Museum of New York City and Richard Koshalek, former Director of the Museum of Contemporary Art of Los Angeles, and Lowery Sims, the Curator of 20th Century Art at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
