Moving figures are something that has always fascinated me. This is Leicester Square in London on a drizzly morning. I love the sheen on the streets after a spell of rain; how it reflects everything. Bright yellow parasol of the cafe provides a neat focal point in this little painting. The aim was to captures the energy of the city, with a combination of bold strokes and tiny details.
The edges have been painted so that it can be hanged with or without a frame.
I have varnished to to add a layer of protection.
Thanks for visiting.
