Artist's description:

Cold steel kitchen utensils rest in a water splashed chrome sink blending into the natural fiber and wooden texture of a long forgotten deserted oak tree. By combining the manufacture of deadly kitchen tools with the natural feeling of hard wood, I aim to show the stark contrasts between man and nature.

At once the sharp kitchen scissors and knifes represent the desire of man to destroy, whilst the oak yearly rings symbolize continual renewal and growth.

Buy this work to show an understanding of this duality.
