Rooms and stripes is part of a group of work that I have called "photo paintings", born in 1999.
I have experienced the use of the body as a contact mask on photo paper in black and white. I used the brushes in the development process photo on the floor, and then I painted the picture with acrylics in some parts, by intervening image that had formed previously with light.
In these small works I used everyday objects on photographic paper always in black and white but of small size.
In Wood Powder one of the strips is made with sandalwood sawdust covered by deep red paint.
