The most popular tourism event every year in DC, is the cherry blossom festival. 2,000 trees line the Tidal Basin, and it is a beautiful annual site to behold that brings in around a million people.
The Women's March brought in over 1 million people. So many people, there is no actual, reliable cont. Besides President Obama's first inauguration, the Women's March broke all event records.
Due to the sheer numbers, and pink hats, I wanted to combine the idea of the marchers with the cherry trees.
