"Woman Behind the Mask" is a hand-built sculpture that features Lake Superior driftwood, a ceramic hand-built bird and blown glass flowers.
This one-of-a-kind sculpture is a part of my "Human Circus" sculpture series.
It is an ORIGINAL sculpture - hand-built by me- Tonja Sell.
Size: About 13" tall. It is hollow on the inside.
I use low-fire red and white clay fired to 04 or stoneware fired to cone 6.
Sculptures are bisque fired to cone 04 then glazed with a variety of glazes to 06 -cone 6.
Some pieces are fired multiple time to achieve the desired effect.
