Original artwork description:

It's a cold winters morning but it's nice and cosy in the cottage - but someone left the cat out!
This is a mixed media collage onto a ready to hang 4 cm deep box canvas.
This collage has been built up of several layers of tissue paper and torn paper. The first layer was a pink tissue paper to create that almost pink look you get outside when it's really cold and clear. Eerything else was then built up using torn paper out of magazines. I then kind of "white washed" everyting using white gouache and then after a little drying time I worked the colour back with a little damp sponge. I repeated the process unitil I was happy with the result. This is a great fun method to work with.
The painting has been sealed with a paint specific matt spray varnish to protect it from dust and to seal it so it can be wiped with a damp cloth.
The painting is signed on the front and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
