Recently I've been obsessed with painting sunlight and the effects on colour. I like this painting. It feels a little bit more contemporary. I've used big paint brush strokes in the sky and this compares with the texture I've used on the rocks and beach. I've used my palette knife to get more detail. I really enjoyed this painting.
