This is the view from the bridge over the Thames between Twickenham and the island made famous in the 1960's where bands like The Rolling Stones played at the Eel Pie Island Hotel. I lived in Twickenham on a houseboat at Swan Island Harbour but didn't get round to paint this until many years after I had moved away.
Materials used:
Oil on mdf board, gessoed on both sides.
