This series of prints are inspired by the unique shapes and colours of the ancient rock formations of the Kintyre Peninsular throughout the seasons, giving a unique view of the character that is so visually striking for this extraordinary area of Scotland.

Karen has printed this series of Limited Edition Monotype prints, cutting recycled materials for the printing plates. Using backs of rejected prints and drawings as well as cat food boxes and packaging envelopes, she develops the prints one colour at a time, waiting until it is dry before deciding on the next colour and shape, building the image layer by layer.
