I love this tree and I have painted it before in full leaf.
I sought this tree out again during a walk on Wimbledon Common on New Year's day 2016. I took my own reference photo using a new wide angle lense and used oils on a large canvas to try and capture both the delicacy and majesty of this massive old oak tree.
